Our History
Our church has a long history in the community of service to the Lord. Founded in 1887, this was the original church building.
This brick church building was built after the original building burned in 1923.
Built in 1976, this is First Baptist Church of Alexandria today.
While our building has undergone major changes in its nearly 150 years of existence, the one thing that has remained constant is the friendliness of the people inside its doors and our love for the Lord. We invite you to come be a part of our legacy and our growth for the future.
